Question about Mike Furman at Criswell

Called up Criswell Corvette yesterday was matched with a car sales consultant named Anthony should I request to be switched to Mike Furman

I did the same, and even emailed him directly. Never heard from him and was “handed off” to someone else for my C7, which I didn’t buy there. So, my guess is that he’s a busy fella and just gets too many people making basic inquiries online/phone, and maybe he deals mostly with walk-ins and people in person. Not sure, never was able to find out. He’s got lots of videos though. The guy I spoke with was decent to deal with in my opinion.

tens of thousands of corvette enthusiasts are there this week and last weekend was the carlisle event...

could be 100,000 there for all I know..

i went to carlisle last week for two days..I had a great time and met with Mike Furman there.

he is a true sales professional..

if it were me I d wait to speak with Mike Furman as he has 42 years of corvette sales experience but thats your choice.

Its like a corvette birthday bash ...its insanity out there..... Ive never gone but hope to one year...

i dont know how the guys do carlisle then do the bowling green event...

i was exhausted after carlisle this year...i think it took me days to recuperate....

I am not sure what the relationship is of Mike Furman is with Criswell. While he is based there, he may operate as an independent contractor, not as an employee.

Every dealer I know of, has a policy that once you have established initial contact with an individual salesperson, that person remains your sales person forever at that dealer. However, their might be an out for those of you who did as per above, and that is call the Sales Manager and talking only with that person, politely giving him your reasons and ask it you could be reassigned to be Mike Furman’s customer? At least worth a try. Perhaps that person you originally talked with is no longer on Criswell’s staff. Best of luck.

Please do not anyone else make that above mistake in the future of talking with anyone else, dailing any other phone number but Mike Furman’s desk direct one.

I started my C8 inquiries with 4 of the big names in the Corvette World. 2 of the 4 constantly returned my inquiries, two never did. I eliminated the 2 non responders immediately, and narrowed it down to Mike and MacMulkin. I bought my previous C7 through MacMulkin and have no complaints. Macmulkin never committed to me that they could get the car to me when I was requesting it. Mike was the only one that made me feel confident that I would be able to achieve my plan of putting a C8 in my driveway in November of 2020. My last email to Mike asked how to place the deposit, he said call me on my line. I did call and he picked up immediately. I placed the deposit over the phone and was done in 5 minutes. So far Mike has been very accessible and as I said he inspired confidence that he could deliver the car I wanted when I want it.

I've never heard a single negative word about Mike in all of my years on multiple Corvette forums.

This ! I've never gotten any song and dance from him. Never ! He was my only go to for the C8 and will be for the Z06 when it comes out.

FWIW i put my deposit in with a different associate (Troy) at Criswell who so far has been super responsive and very helpful. I wouldn’t fret if its
not Mike.
