I wrote Dave at Kerbeck and asked about their allocation. They got a lot of cars, and they are all spoken for. The C8 may indeed be sold out. Here's his response.

Our first round (first 3 months) is already sold out but we will be filling orders quickly. We get between 125 and 150 per month and even though our list is over 1000 now, that will drop as people get pricing or find a car somewhere else.

Let me know what else I can answer for you. Thanks again!

No not sold out other than for the first three month allocation period; yet many remaining for the second, nine-month allocation period.

Folks will drop out as Dave noted. Dave is always a total straight shooter. We still do have allocations available at three forum dealers, but none of them could do one during the first three month period.

Do you have a link to an explanation of the allocation periods? Don't all the cars in the first allotment have to be built before the second allotment assembly begins?

I talked to Vanessa today at MacMulikin. , I did not want to bother Mark. As of today, they were at number 192 of their total allotment of 1176 cars. SO NO THEY ARE NOT sold out. This is mis leading due to the fact that most smaller dealers are sold out. I have been on the list for 4 months only and I am in the first round My friend got on MacMulkins list two weeks prior to reveal and he is still on the first round at number 82. So my advice to anyone is to call MacMulkin give them the REFUNDABLE $2,000 deposit and get your car in the first few months. MacMulkin is in great standing with GM . They have 539 2019s in stock and will sell them in the next 4 to 5 months. That is why they are number 2 in the world. for Corvette sales. Ask them about a courtesy delivery to a dealership near you instead of transporting a car from NH

It seems reasonable, since GM has already ok'd a second shift for the Bowling Green facility, and if you look back to some of the bigger C7 sales years, MacMulkin was around 1000 Corvettes in sales. https://www.corvetteblogger.com/2015...alers-of-2014/

It is quite possible. MacMulkin are 100% honest folks. As they said they had 1,176 allocations, they have 1,176 allocations. As noted above, BGA is adding a second shift.

Every dealer I have talked with has a C8 first year allocation that is more than a little above the average annual sales recently.

The first allocation period is three months; the next one is nine months.

This is the first time Ive ever ordered before the car has released.( Reserved on the list since the middle of may)I literally have been so confused about the entire order process...and when the vehicle delivers im depending on the supporting dealers of this site to guide us through..

there is so much misinformation on the internet.....and the only facts we have are that everyone wants one..gm knows it and there are two shifts to meet demand as best as possible.

the sooner the better of course but as corvette owners get them I know Ill enjoy reading the reviews ..

i hope we dont have a heavy winter snow total for this year for those who live in the snow states...

i believe a lot of people dont like picking up their corvettes in winter although Ive seen dealers deliver some corvettes to owners in trailers so they dont get wet when its raining out..

ill be telling the dealer Im good for almost any weather within reason is pickup...(absolute blizzard exception)

anybody know the projected unit volume estimate for 2020 model year and start date for deliveries?

                  40k units? First deliveries february?

ive heard christmas deliveries as well as a start up delivery date of february...i have no clue which?

My dealer, minor player in the Corvette world, has an allocation twice the number of 2019 vettes sold indicating GM is indeed stepping up production.
