Z51 Package not compatible with Side Rocker - Visible Carbon Fiber?

The configurator is back online, and thus I'm messing around with it this morning. I did notice something interesting though, and hopefully it's just an error with this configuration tool.
If you add the Side Rocker - Visible Carbon Fiber, it tells you that you have to take off the Z51 Package! O_o
I really hope this is not the case with the final product, as the CF Side Rocker looks GOOD! No need for an aftermarket option with that beauty on there. Hoping it's just a glitch, as the high rise spoiler option is compatible with the Z51. Anyone have any birdies that can whisper an answer?

Initial Configurator and/or Order Guide inconsistencies have happened occasional before. It takes a while to get 1000% compatibility — or their could be some reason why the extended side rockers literally would not work with the Z51. We will learn about such things BEFORE the first orders go in.

We should have a “C8 Stingray OG/Configurator Questions” thread so we could together work up a list that Keith (CorvetteBlogger), Jag, I or others could seek answers to. If one posts in that thread the more detail the better, including screen shots of the two items that seem to be either inconsistent or puzzling.

Would someone please start such a thread? Thank you.

I hope the issue is the configurator. Few days ago, I was able to get the side rocker with Z51 package as evident in these photo. Now, it won't let me combine the 2. If anything, the Z51 should have more aggressive areo both in terms of look and functionality.

Also, I noticed the winglets attached to the front spliter in 2nd picture are now missing.

You can definitely spec it with the carbon ground effects (front splitter and side trim). My car is in the system with that spec. You may not be able to ONLY add the side rocker if that's what you are trying to do.

I have a question relating to the "Side Rocker-Carbon Flash Metallic-Painted Carbon Fiber" Rocker panel: I do not intend to order Z51 pkg. Does anyone know the RPO code just for this item and shouldn't it be able to go on a 1LT? My car color is Black. The visualizer allows it to be chosen and would seem to be compatible with EFR Exterior Accents?? I'm sure it will be an option, not standard equipment. My only other option for me is the shorter "black side rocker". Does anyone have a clue? THK

Interestingly, I don't see that option anywhere in the ordering guide.

It's there in the configurator/visualizer, click on "Exterior Accents", scroll over to dot #4 (located at bottom), "Carbon Flash Metallic-Painted-Carbon Fiber Side Rocker". Not sure about the ordering guide. That's why I'm searching for the RPO code. If they had this rocker painted just carbon flash, I'd might settle for that, but that's not one of the choices!

Im so glad that is an option. Im not going to buy it but for those that do....better to give the money to the corvette team.

Ordering guide says 5VM requires Rear High Wing (5ZU in 1 of 4 colors or 5ZZ in carbon flash). Doesn't seem to offer it separately. 5VM pkg not avail. w/5V7,5W8,S6S,SJI, whatever they are, couldn't find those RPO codes. I might just order STI or not order at all. What a shame!!

I'm sure the aftermarket will satisfy your needs eventually, if GM won't.

Do you mean the standard Z51 pieces, or the optional ground effects package? It doesn't look like the stock parts (splitter, spoiler) are available in carbon fiber.
