Wife wants me to get red, I also like ELB. Red looked stunning next to the other two colors though last night. I am leaning towards Torch Red and red GT2 seats, red and black interior.

The NPP is part of the Z51. I am with Richrat, I am just going to get in line behind him and say, ME TOO and throw down.

I'll probably just load one up as much as possible non Z51. I have one but I won't track the new car I'll use the difference in price to add some stuff. I am confused about the spoiler colors I want it to be the same color as the car. Was that an option on the C7? Mines black so not relevant.

Comments on the Horsepower? Couldn't they have squeezed 5 MORE just to say 500? There was some mis leading statements. "The car will be under $60,000" was said then it was eluded to that the Z51 could be had for under 60.

Torch Red, 2LT, black red stitching, expect I’ll have at least 15k in options.

Well after building mine I've decided to go Zeus and Natural!

After looking at many pictures, I really prefer the looks of the non Z51 and really don't need all the extras. It sounds like all season tires may be standard which would allow several more months of driving. Front end lift, standard wheels, and hopefully NPP is a stand alone option, or will have to wait for Corsa. Black with 3LT Natural/dipped interior. My dealer says he will have pricing mid August which will help decide any other options. All subject to change based on what we see at the Museum the end of August.

I would count on the 2LT package costing a lot more than $5K. It was $5K on the C7, but on the C8 it contains a lot more, including NAV and the PDR, which alone were another $1800 on the C7.

Assuming the same color availability when I order:

                            Base (non Z51) HT convertible
                            2LT
Torch Red w/ Black interior & suede seats, OR
Elkhart Lake Blue w. Gray interior & suede
Body colored blades on the side scoops
Probably GT2 seats, but will want to try out both the GT1 and GT2
Performance exhaust if it's a stand alone option by the time I order (I'm hoping)
Split 5 spoke wheels, possibly in Performance Pewter

BUT, depending on how much they cost, the two tone seats, colored stitching and seat belts available in the 3LT package would look sweet. Have to buy the wife a new diamond necklace or something, though, to make that fly.

Edit: Cost no object, I think this is what I would order. But in the convertible.

                            .
                            .
                            .

A couple of comments on what some of you have listed in posts above:

After spending some time playing around in the configurator, when it was briefly working for me, I am almost certain that you can only choose colored stitching and colored seatbelts with the 3LT option. Assuming, that is, the configurator is right.

No, the Z51 won't be under $60K. Reuss was clear that was the base price.

On the C7, the rear spoiler was available in body color for some colors, but not all.

I think the black spoiler and side view mirrors is an option like carbon flash. It was on the c7 i believe.

i hope so as i prefer less black accents personally..

not a deal killer either way...
