Did the Museum Delivery Yesterday
My wife and I were excited to take delivery yesterday at the Corvette Museum (option code R8C). It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it. I drove the Corvette home today which elevated the experience even more...the ride is comfortable and yet handles great. Can't wait to get it broken in! I've added a photo taken by the museum photographer showing our new Vette at the end of the day along with 2 tired but happy owners.

My older brother got a used one in the mid 60’s and modified it by adding a Honda 500 motor/trans complete with electric start.
The thing would do 70mph! I am amazed we survived those days. The Simplex geometrically correct steering and drum brakes were awesome! Looks like your brother had a "FAST" one! The one I raced and enjoyed had twin Westbend 580's. With the live axle it was crazy fast and unstoppable. Great indeed! We affectionately named it the “Mean ‘Chine.” Had to put lead ingots (for lead packing cast iron sewer pipe) along the front in an attempt to keep it on the ground. At least we had a rope for a “seat belt!” 😳Originally posted by SouthernProducer View Post

Love the car! It is very similar to my intended build for Feb. Any chance you could post more pics and detail about the build. Is there a spoiler on the back?
