Is it possible to get an update on the TPW/possible VIN# order CKRKS5 considering the upcoming plant shutdown?

You have to ask your dealer I have no access to shipping other than my own dealership

Does that mean you can't see if the status code is at 4200? Or even 4000? Order BSXJ6D.

Corvette Ed is doing us all a favor, to be certain. However, you and us are far from children waiting for gifts. We paid cash money for this; we are consumers. The supply chain logistics are crippling and maddening. At a time when communications is at a premium, GM appears to be backsliding. Here, we have the initiative of one singular individual to keep us informed. Why isn't this something Chevrolet / GM is doing? Why is there so little quality communication from the company we are paying millions of dollars collectively?

I have to agree. I have fully paid for my car; it is built and sitting in Bowling Green waiting for transport. It was built on 3/9. And still I await the car to be transported.

I haven't received further emails from Chevrolet, the dealers tell me to wait, but no one will tell me why, and no one will commit to a date. I paid $100k and I cannot get a delivery date -- this seems wrong to me.

That said, once I have this beauty in hand, I'll laugh and tell stories about the process of obtaining it. Really, really looking forward to 2.5 years of waiting to pay off.

That's the way GM works!!! Your dealer will never know the shipping date until it is loaded on the truck, then it will be live on the dealers Vin-View. How would you like to be me with 7 customers cars 1 built 2/16 that shows 3800 produced and no info why it has not been invoice to me sitting now one month with the customer calling everyday. Car 2 built 2/27 same thing 3800 produced no invoice, Car 3 built 2/28 finally released and shipped to me, Car 4 ZO6 December allocation original TPW was 1/9 then 1/23 then 2/6 then 2/20 then 3/6 the 3400 for 3/20 with the build day 3/23 and now the plant is closed, Cars 5&6 TPW 3/27 plant closed this week so maybe they will be 4/3 Car 7 TPW was 3/27 mover to 4/3 now I guess 4/10

Event code 3300 3/27 TPW but with the plant closed this coming week my guess is you will move to 4/3

Thanks for that info. It helps put things in perspective for those of us impatient about getting updates about our order. At least it does for me.
