zimmnc That would be awesome! That was a good question to ask. Did they say what that was based on? I know that there are quite a few deferrals at the front of the list right now. Are they indicating there'll be a ton of deferrals leading into spring?

3. If you are on their 2022 SR waitlist now, can you just "DEFER" to their 2023 SR list if you want?

As explained to me, if you get to the point where there is an allocation for your order, you can defer your place in line to the next month. I don't know if there is a limit how many times you can do this.

I don't know if there is a kept statistic for "deferrals".

I assume, if you keep on deferring, month after month, on the 2022 list, you may be able to get on a 2023 list instead. When the 2021 model year ran out with people still on the 2021 list at MM, they automatically put those people at the head of the 2022 list, ahead of those already on a 2022 list.

Not completely true. There were people who had 2022 deposits down before some of the 2021 deposits. When it came time to merge the 2021 and 2022 list, everyone was renumbered based on the day MM received their deposit. There were a few people who were originally on the 2022 list who were put ahead of those who were merged from the 2021 list.

#1 and #3 were answered, so for #2 it's tricky. Neither dealership publishes those numbers but you can infer them pretty accurately by comparing the number of allocations for the month against how much the list drops in my table, and where the people who report getting an allocation were on the list.
