As far as constraints go, there are no new items added to the list that previously contained the (VST) Illuminated Sill Plates and the (5DF) Black Trident Wheels. The Black wheels have not been available for some time and one of our dealers told us that GM has removed them from a bunch of orders as well as reinvoicing cars that are still waiting for them. Looks like if you want black wheels, you’ll have to go with either the (Q8Q) Carbon Flash Open Spoke design or go aftermarket.

My guess would be either (1) production issues with the finish on the black ones or (2) constraints on the production volume and GM decided to focus production on the much higher volume colors.

I was afraid this would happen when I first saw these wheels show up on constraint last month and also saw C8's sitting around Rick Conti's videos waiting for these wheels. I ordered these wheels with my C8 and really wanted them. I'm told my car is scheduled to arrive at the dealership by next Wednesday and I was really hoping this wheel situation would be resolved but it sounds like it went from the wheels being delayed 4 weeks, to flat out the wheels are no longer available regardless of orders that were already built. I wonder if they will also refund my Jake Logo center caps that I specifically ordered with the car for these wheels?
