Our C8 Order went Code 3400 on Nov 18 and got our C8's VIN from our Dealer yesterday. From the various forum production schedules it looks like it will come off the BGA Production Line (Code 3800) tomorrow (Nov 25). There is now a small chance we might be able to take delivery (Code 6000) by the end of December -if- the usual 4+ week Train Transport to the Seattle area goes smoothly. Well the adventure is almost complete. On the truck and on the road to Criswell. Maybe this week for arrival at the dealers.

Just received word mine rolled off the line yesterday, Monday the 23rd, 2nd shift. I ordered the dual racing stripe, so from what I can tell, it was / will be moved over the to stripe shop to have that installed. I don't know how long that takes and I wasn't given an updated status code, so I think I'm still at 3400 until the stripe is installed. Anyone with knowledge on that subject, feel free to chime in.
Funny thing happened yesterday, the day the C8 came off the line. I've had my '73 Vega wagon for sale for a couple years now and out of the blue one of the local car gathering guys came over and bought it.
That's really good timing, the extra $$ helps offset the cost of the C8 and it frees up a parking spot in the garage.

Putting a stripe on at BGA takes typically one day, sometimes two. Then there is the one day processing out and releasing the vehicle to Jack Cooper Transport. Mine was off the line PM yesterday and have the full race stripe. Dealer invoiced today. Stripe seems to be pretty routine.Comment

Mine arrived at Criswell today. I am flying up there Friday afternoon, staying the night at a Marriott 3 miles away from the dealership, and taking delivery at 9AM Saturday. Service Dept called me and asked if I wanted any add-ons during PDI. I added a high wing spoiler and they are also adding 2qts to the DCT. Pleasant surprise with the high wing spoiler since I didn't order it and they are so hard to get currently. The end is finally in sight. Breakin miles will be complete on the drive back down to Florida and I took next Monday off work already.Semper Fidelis,
