There are several ways to post our desired picture(s). Here are three and if anyone finds additional ways, please add into a below post.
* Click onto the photo icon (top left right below the title of a thread you started or also the same location in a new post you are working on). When it opens, click on either "Upload" or “Select From Photo Album.”
* Click on the underlined capital "A" in the top right. It opens a large sub-menu. Then click on the picture postcard icon. Choose either "Image Info or Upload, fill in the appropriate on as you can, then click on "OK" (bottom right).
*I use this last one when I want to place a picture in the middle of my text, but you need to have first clicked on your mouse where, in your already typed text, you want the picture before proceeding to add your attachment to get it into the right place in your thread.
