Excited to have just found this forum. Will be sending in my deposit to MacMulkin on Monday. I told myself I would wait for at least a year or so for GM to shake out some of the bugs on the new mid engine... but I'm so smitten, I can't wait.

Me too and with 20 years of buying long term daily driver new corvettes .i was going to wait for the second year of production but decided the car is too beautiful, too quick and too well priced not to jump right in.

    Thats why they have warranties...

    Congratulations...

I have my deposit with MacMulkin as well and you will be happy with their service. I as many others have considered excercising my option to rescind and get my refundable deposits back, with concerns of first year . BUT, I have a very good feeling with the quality of this car and the fact that it was so long in waiting for Corvette to do a mid engine that all the engineering has been in works longer than any previous generation and this car is right. The main concern I had was with the DCT and after hearing Tadge talk about it and the effort they had placed in the transmission , I am convinced it is right and everything else is as well.
      Welcome to The Forum.

Once we know more on pricing after the 15th I may have a better idea of what my plans are. I really love my C7, but the C8 is a thing of beauty.

Count me in the same club, for heretofore we have always waited until the second year of a new Corvette gen. Like above, will not be waiting this time.

Welcome! I'm from No Cal too-Fairfax in Marin County. I'm smitten too, but still going to hold out for at least a year. I hope you get your dream car!

Yes, the Z51 rear spoiler is body colored unless you separately choose option ZYC which changes your mirrors and your rear spoiler to carbon flash metallic.
