    CONTEST: “Part 2 Finalists”

We have five finalists moving forward. Their being finalists was based solely on their having the OEM rarest color for that model year Corvette.

From the first part of the contest, which was based on those members who had the rarest OEM color for a specific model year, we now move to the final part of this contest, with the following five members being “finalists.”

The first part of the contest was here: https://www.midenginecorvetteforum.c...-awarded/page2

    Congratulations to:

Fireeagle; meyerweb; Brad66; nightraceZ; and Charlie

For those of you who submitted multiple Corvettes, we are only evaluating their rarest color one, so Brad66 your 2004 Millennium Yellow is the car entering the final part of this contest, and Charlie, your 1956 Cascade Green is the car entering the final part of this contest.

We will again use the same Antonick’s “Black Book” as our “final arbiter,” we now ask you five finalists to list below your rarest OEM option (or if you do not know, please list all of them and we will help determine it).

The person who has the rarest option of all will be our contest winner (duplicate prizes awarded in case of a tie). Deadline for this second part of thisn is September 1st (also 9:00 PM, PST). The winner will be announced within 48 hours thereafter.

Please post below your rarest OEM option. GOOD LUCK!

There were very few options available on the C5 Z06 (because racecar) and mine has a couple.

    Memory package
    Electrochromic mirrors

Millenium Yellow was also an extra cost color, $750 in 2004.

1956 Cascade Green corvette OEM options:

            Positraction rear end
            Wonderbar radio
            2 four barrel carburetors

Not an OEM option but we purchased an aftermarket hard top and had it painted to match.

This is an easy one. How many Corvettes, especially in the 80's had a fully digital dash? Everything is fully digital in my 1986 Corvette. The speedometer is a digital readout and an ever increasing bar as you pick up speed. All of the gauges are digital readout that include distance to empty, a fuel bar, water and oil temps, average mpg, battery amps and trip info. The clock, radio and even the climate control is digital. This has to be the rarest of OEM options and they all function in my C4..

Not sure so maybe opinions on what could be the rarest option

                1 year color (NRB) for C6 ZR1, mine is 1 of 54 - 2013 60th anniversary year
Cyber Grey Metallic headlight option (not sure how many of the other 53 ZR1's checked that option box)
                OEM machine faced cup wheels
Dark Titanium interior with blue stitch throughout (suede or alcantara-like seat inserts)
