  • Hotel recommendations for Corvettes at Carlisle

Not sure if this is the right section for this question but here goes. What are peoples recommendations for a Hotel at or near Carlisle for the event? I'm planning on attending next year and I'd like to know where the best places are. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!!

Basicly anywhere you can get a room !
The longer you wait, the further you'll stay from the fairgrounds.

Most people "Roll Over" their rooms for next year when they check out, so rooms fill up fast starting on Monday the day after the show
    Here is a start

Budget is a factor to consider. Traffic into the fairfrounds is slow in the Mornings, and slow leaving.
We stay at the downtown hotel because we like the parade and the fact that we can walk to different resturants from the Motel. Don't have to worry about driving around.
Best suggestion is to go with a group of friends or club members. You'll learn the ropes Quickly !
We have been going since about 1978 and look forward to it each year !
    Have Fun !

We stayed in Shippensburg (South from Carlisle, down HWY 11) at a hotel downtown. Might have been a Marriot, sorry not sure, being a little farther out of the way, it was nice accommodations, and really not a big deal to travel to during our visit. So check out some places near Carlisle. You may find better prices and availability.
