Tom talks about his early years when he first discovered Corvette, his path to a California design school, how he got his GM scholarship as a sophomore in college (when they were only given to junior and seniors) and all through his 35 years at GM. Tom gives you the inside scoop on how they introduced the C5 Corvette at a reserve Air Force base and the competition thereof.  He also recalls the story of how Global Design Vice President, Ed Welborn, gave his team the OK to finally call the C7 Corvette a "Stingray".  Then Tom recalls his induction into the Corvette Hall of Fame.

    Well all I can say right now is WOW!
    I have to go change my shirt because I look like my old black lab staring at the dinner table! As all Corvette's before and most certainly after, this one is a game changer. Thanks for the pic's and info. Might have to order / trade- in during the Corvette Caravan, when I drive down for the festivities!

      Excellent Member Name Choice. WantME, Yes its awesome that it may soon be a reality. There has been some speculation as to just about everything as there will be. Price probably being the #1 for many Corvette Enthusiasts, as they have mostly been a great value sports-car over the years. Lets keep our fingers crossed they will still be a great value for what they will produce. WELCOME !
