I met John Elegant at Saturday’s Corvette at the Carousal in Salem Oregon. After a wonderful conversation he handed me his card and urged me to join this forum. Being a BIG FAN of the C8 I am more than happy to sign up 👍

I am a current owner of a 2016 Torch Red Coupe.

Maxie2U, you sure do have one beautiful car. We are very pleased you joined us. Did you notice the C8 camo shirts that just appeared today? I do not know if you are interested, but I do know not a month has elapsed since the BASH that I haven’t gotten a couple of request from members, “did you find a source for them yet.” Ordered one for my wife!

BTW, Maxie2U had in their C7, one great mini-storage area that we also talked about at the show. $18 for a set of two, with at second one of them going into my daily driver.

I will send you a traditional welcoming message within the next few minutes. Thanks again for joining this friendly crew.

Welcome to the forum Maxie2U, that's a great looking C7 you've got. The Torch Red appears slightly different than I'm used to seeing in pics, it has a hint of orange in the highlights. I don't know if maybe it's just that particular photo, but it looks cool.

Maxie 2U welcome, Looks like my C7. Can't go wrong with a torch red stingray. A base LT1 with a few options is all the Corvette anyone really ever needs. And your car really looks sharp with the added Chrome wheels the red calipers and especially the clear top. Sure hope you have the Dual Mode exhaust. I LIKE IT
