Awarding Our 2,500th Member With “Corvette Special Editions” Book

We are approaching a MECF member goal amount we originally thought we would not achieve until a very long time from now.

We want to specially award that member both that “number” title*, and send that person a copy of Keith Cornett’s “Corvette Special Editions.”

i have a small book shelf across the room with Corvette books that mostly gather dust. However, I have three books that I keep right next to me for easy, typically weekly, access. They are Keith’s “Corvette Special Editions”, Michael Antonick’s “Corvette Black Book,” and Larry Birdsall’s “Corvette Stingray: The Making Of The Seventh Generation Corvette.”

I’m sure number 2500 will enjoy the up to the minute information and wide ranging topics that all of us do that keeps our excitement level up and way too antsy for the reveal. Then the interminable wait to get our hands on one will generate a whole new level of angst and discussion. The rapid growth of MECF to this point reflects well on the Founders efforts to keep the site energized and us involved. Congrats and keep it up!

That was a great idea John, to mark a milestone of this site. The question is, what will you cook up for the 5000th member?

That is a darn good question. Maybe one of our most affluent members would donate a C8 to give away? if so, MECF could hit 5,000 probably in the next week. If that donation does not occur, we will have to think of something — but being the optimist, thinking we have some member with a net balance of over $10M who might think that would be fun.
