    Hi! Guys,

Just joined the forum as the excitement for the C8 is building up quickly! I have been following the news for a couple years already.

I have owned a 2015 C7 before (best car I ever owned), which I was lucky enough to find as someone gave up on his order to wait an additional year for a Z06!
I was watching for online opportunities and found that one on the day they posted it. I bought it next day and I paid MSRP while it was common to see marked up prices.

    I also owned a 2010 2SS Camaro before that, and I currently own a 2017 ZL-1 Camaro, which I love.
But, I still miss my C7 almost every day.

I am trying to hold on until I can get my hands on a C8, but it is not an easy task seeing the increasing availability of GS and prices dropping...

Given all that, I would really be thankful to any tips on finding a reliable and honest dealership/salesperson in my area (or not too far from me) that could give me a real chance on getting one 2020 C8.

Thanks all and glad to join the team!

    Erick

What fun you are having driving a ZL-1. Great cars, though we understand quite different from our Corvettes. There will be an opportunity for you to own a 2020 C8 in your future. Or to get a nicely discounted GS now. As Harlan Charles said at the Corvette Corral at Sebring a couple of weeks ago, “2019 is/will be a great year.”

Hey, I guessed it was time to post some update.
I finally got my C8 corvette after waiting a long time to be able to buy one at MSRP.
It's been quite a long time looking for one, but I am happy it is here.
I traded my C7 that was filling the gap for this time I was looking for a C8.

P.S.: Special thanks to John for always trying to help me out in my search.

                        Hello,

I placed my deposit on a C8 when Corvette did the dealer show thing. I had 2 C7's,
                        but knew I wanted a C8.

It took 16 months from deposit to delivery. 2020 LT2 Ceramic Gray black interior, black
                        wheels. I loved it.

Took it to my dealer for an annual oil change, saw a 2023 Red Mist on the showroom
floor. I told my long time salesman I wanted it. He told me it was waiting for the owner
who ordered it to take delivery. I told him if the owner could not take delivery to call me.
About 2 hours after I returned home, my salesman called to say the owner could not take
delivery due to some major surgery. I told him I would return the next day with my 2020
C8 and my checkbook to do the deal.

Drove the 2023 C8 home after that.. Still breaking it in...just hit 400 miles.

                        Bob
