      Some impressive numbers.

I was a little late to Corvette ownership (after 8 Mustangs) but I've made up for lost time.

I have owned 7 with my first being a new C5 in 2001.

      2 Blue, 2 Silver, 3 Yellow.
      6 of 7 manual transmission.
      1 convertible, 1 t-tops, 3 targa tops, 2 coupes

      C2 - 1
      C3 - 2
      C5 - 2
      C6 - 1
      C7 - 1

Mike, I had a 1964 C2 roadster with a 365 horse 327 and a Muncie four speed. I drove the wheels off that car until the mid 1970s, Other life events got me out of Corvettes for a while, and when it was time to come back, the Corvette was under 200 horsepower. It took the C7 for all the stars to align to put me in a Corvette again.

Used to go to Konners in Paramus for all my parts needs with that C2. Its only shortcoming at that time was drum brakes, which were replaced with disc brakes the following model year.

Well, I've obviously been drawn to the Big Cubic inch corvette engine models.
I do love the performance of the newer C7 ZO6 and ZR1 models and am cautiously awaiting more details on C8 engine and overall performance news.
I could see another new car in my future.

But there's a great number of options and pleasure still available in the classic corvettes too!

I would not be surprised if at the reveal of the ME, we hear something like, “on track X, the ME lapped faster than the Z06.” [If so, probably would be a “lots of turns,” technical track, not a high speed, long straightaway track.]

We all are eagerly awating hard facts...,i.e., “just give me the facts...”

My problem would be finding a place to keep them all. Once you have one or two or three, how hard is it to let them go? I have had two and still have two.

I've had 44 Musclecars and 18 Corvettes...the most I've ever had at the same time is 11. Battery upkeep was hell.

'17 GS (first auto, all other's were manuals)

As Mike knows, I'm toying with idea of a '19 Z06 M7.... The battle between the brain and heart over the finances rages on

I built the house I presently live in. It has 3500 square feet of living space and a 600 square foot garage. If I had it to do over again, it would be 600 feet of living space, and a 3500 foot garage.
