How To: Post A Video

Find your video on YouTube or wherever.

Copy its unique identifying code, e.g., “https://youtu.be/NnrlPa-o2a4”; Do not however, just place that code in your thread or post — as I just did. Instead:

Click on the A in the upper right corner.

This is what it will look like once it opens:


Then please find the like “picture postcard” icon. Ignore it (for that is for pictures); instead click on the “old fashioned film” icon to its right.

Another way to upload a video is to go to the specific video on YouTube, click on the browser address line at the top of the page and copy it, then use the Insert Video icon on the expanded post header (comes up when you click on the A) for example:

Insert the video unique identifying code you earlier copied, into the open rectangle space.

If this worked well for you, this is what you will consequently see (again instead of just the video’s identification code):

You will note before you hit "Post" whether you have done it correctly, for if you have, it will have the word "VIDEO" before and after the videos identifier code.

Then hit “Post” in the bottom right hand corner below what you have been working on.

I can post my laptop pictures but not videos.

You can post them to YouTube first then copy and paste the link in the Insert Video Icon

How to Upload iPhone Videos to YouTube from Camera Roll Directly?

1. Click on the icon of "Photos" on iPhone screen and then go to Camera Roll>; Videos folder.
2. Select the videos that you want to upload and tap on the "Share" button at the left corner. Then click on "Next".
3. After that, a small box will pop up from the bottom with different options, such as YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo, etc. ...

I suspect that a number of us would like to post one of our PDR videos. Is this the best way to accomplish that or is there an easier way?

If you have a YT account, take its “code,” click on this, past its code and then hit reply.

John, Don't have you tube account yet. I'll have to look into it.
