Long time Corvette owner, continuous ownership since 1966 having bought a new vette every ten years. 
Looking forward to the mid-engine, perhaps my last new purchase but will make it my life car. Currently have an '09 Z51 coupe and a '64 convertible matching numbers all with three pedals.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Just to be clear, I haven't owned the mid-year since new, my first vette was a '56 in '66 as a high school punk. First new vette was a '78 anniversary edition but always had a side vette too. JB, the '09 has 98K and the '64 has 97K believed to be original. The story goes that it was won/lost in a card game in SF's Chinatown in the early seventies. I got it from the guy who was in his 90's. He rarely drove it, the downside is any work or maintenance was done at the corner gas station by kids.
