  • I've owned other Corvettes- they've come and gone, and are no longer with me, but my '66 will be with me until I am no longer with me.

          • Most of our current military and ex-military have heard; " Mount up we are cutting out." I heard it a lot. So now my tag for over 30 years is " cutnout" Works today as we were always cutnout to shows and travel prior to covid. Now we are cutnout again. Note the tag was copied by a couple in Mississippi so if you see that one it isn't me. cutnout aka Charlie

                  • dcbingaman is internet shorthand for Donald C. Bingaman.

My real handle is "Binger". In the days when I came to work from a different direction every morning, my boss always asked "How's the 'Binger-Dinger' today ?" He was concerned for my health & welfare and he grew up with the Chuck Berry song "My Ding-a-Ling". I told him that the "Dinger", as it were, was in fine fettle and ready to go again tonight.

THAT was when the Handle stuck to me permanently, although I informed him and everyone else that referring to that part of my anatomy in mixed company was impolite. Subsequently it got shortened to just Binger. 45 years later, it's still Binger.

Greatest Jet Fighter in history and the only other one comparable was the F-4 Phantom II, (aka the Rhino). The Eagle has a 100-0 A-A combat kill-loss history record that will likely never be matched. It is also still in production in 2021 (F-15EX) and is destined to serve longer than its successor, the F-22A Raptor, which is a very good but very expensive jet.
