CONTEST! First, we are looking for the rarest OEM paint color Corvette color ever! Is it yours?
This will be a two-part contest, with those with the rarest five colored Corvette semi-finalists eligible for our final round.
This first part will close at 9:00 PM, PST on August 20th. 1st. (Time is not “forum time,” but PST actual time.)
You must personally own the car at the time you post a picture. Only one submittal per contest.
The top five, rarest OEM color semi-finalists will go into our final contest round. It’s “competition category” will be announced when the first part closes, with our final winner being selected at 9:00 PM, PST, September 1st.
We will use the Michael Antonick’s Corvette Black Book as our “official answer” for both contest parts, though as his book only lists stats through the 2018 model year, 2019’s are excluded from this contest. 2019 owners, as are owners for those few years when the Black Book does not list the number of colors, sorry you will not be part of this contest — but we will insure you are eligible for our next one.
Those who own one of the following, as only one of each was ever made, post your car and you are automatically heading to the final round:
1977 Chartreuse, 1981 Bright Blue metallic, 1984 Yellow.
Thanks.
