New member here, waiting on the mid-engine to see what my employee discount is, GM will put a hold on it just for us, they always do, there is still a hold on the ZR1 on us. I had a 2012 GS Convertible, was thinking about the C7 till been seeing photo's of the M-E, might have to wait. With the hold might be next August till I get one, I bet it will come out in March just like the ZR1 did.

Welcome 4U2ENV! Pleased you came here. Perhaps a monkey wrench in your hope for an employee discount coming in the first year, are two things: first, BGA Plant capacity was reduced from 40,500 units/year to just 33,000 ion last fall’s gut-and-rebuil (both figures are with max overtime), and with GM producing both C7’s And ME’s next year, I am thinking that there will be thousands and thousands and thousands of more sold 2020 ME orders than the Plant has capacity.

However, if the price is as low as some think, and if you are smitten with it (as I personally believe 90% of ME lovers will be once we see it revealed), you might decide, “forget waiting, “I need to buy one now!”

I get from $8,000 to $10,000 off (way below dealers invoice) why wouldn't I wait and $75 doc fee

WOW, I had no idea that it was near that much. That would motivate me to wait. Thanks for that information.

I might have to go back to work on an OEM assembly line.
