That FVS render is GORGEOUS! That is how I hoped the C8 would look. Sleek and timeless, not boy racer Lambo knockoff. Yes I am still getting one, either Z06/ZR1, most likely Z06 as the TT will mute the sounds of the gods.

Beauty is subjective. To my eye the LT1 Stingray is the best looking one yet. The Z51, Z06, Eray look like they are intended to be more powerful, expensive, impressive, whatever. But the least expensive Stingray is prettiest, so far.

Same for the C7. The most base model was sharpest. Every time often I see one on the road, I'm impressed that least is most. IMHO.

starting to look closer and closer to the C8.R. I like it. I'm anticipating the zora version will literally be a C8.R.

While I like the renderings I offer this thought.... We have a special edition BMW i8 (the mid engine plug in hybrid convertible). The prior year model coupes all had a similar 'frunk' to what's illustrated in the posts above. When the convertible arrived (Roadster in BMW speak), the top of the 'frunk' was smooth with no recess. We were disappointed. When at Goodwood in the UK the following summer, I asked one of the BMW design team members in attendance and his response was, that design with the recessed 'frunk' created so much turbulence that with the top down it was very uncomfortable for the occupants at any speed over 30 MPH! That took care of my thoughts for swapping out the 'frunk' for the earlier coupe model. It sure did look good though.....
2020 HTC Torch Red with lots of goodies. Built in September. Museum Delivered in October......

Other toys in the garage: Ferrari California, BMW i8 Roadster, Bentley Flying Spur, Chevy SSr

The C8 race car is the truth. They should go ahead and do it street. Near as practical.

I totally agree less IS more! Of course I'm partial, owning a 1LT 21' HTC. Still not a fan of the "wishbone". The other models may look "tougher", but not prettier. You can't beat the "original design intent" of the first C8 design studio. JMHO
