Poor 'ole Richard has been showing this car almost from sea to shining sea! Have they ever gotten the tattered bolsters replaced? He does a great job, but there is so much more info on the C8 in detail on this website. At least at the showings you can get your hands on the car and see up close the things like the roof snappping into the trunk and the engine display. Well done.

Yes, that is Richard and the same C8 I saw and sat in a couple of weeks ago at Patriot Chevrolet near Philadelphia. He is the one that told me they replaced the seats recently, estimating that about 100,000 have sat in the old seats. By the way, he is a race car driver, and has had the C8 on the track. I asked him about the understeer that the rags have reported. He said he never had any understeer issues that he noticed on the track. Of course who knows what configuration or settings he might have had in the test car. BTW, he highly recommended the Ron Fellows school for driver training.

Thanks bpostt22. Definitely Ron Fellows Spring Mountain will be having us visit in 2020 for our C8 training. And more fun!

I asked Ritchie about his employment and he told me he is based in New York City and is employed to do GM trade shows. He was evasive about whether he works for GM or for an agency, but either way he is not a “factory specialist”. He is patient and a good spokesperson, but must be getting tired of doing the same pitch over and over.

And also tired of months and months of being on the road month after month.

Richard was did the C8 reveal in Cincinnati. He did a great Job and represented the C8 and Chevrolet very good. When I asked a question about stowing the top, he actually took the top on and off and stowed it to answer my question.
The other Reveal I went to the reps just stayed back and did not engage the group. When I asked a question they did seem to want to talk that much about the car.
                Oh well.
                Great Job Richard.
