  • Some New ME “Street” Shots

While these pictures first appeared a week ago, all of them are new to me. Not excitingly different, but confirms that the 2020 ME is not only track capable, but for running around down in traffic. So, FWIW, here are some different ones. Thanks to GM inside News.

I just don't understand the criticism of the C8 ME having a big rear-end. A little longer, yes, but after all it has to accommodate the engine back there. To me, it still screams Corvette!

That is does, and when we see it in real life, its top fascia edge is probably going to be lower than on the C7’s. Most of the pictures were are seeing and get our impressions from, are pictures taken roughly 2’ above the ground, yet our eyes average are about 5 above, so when we see it in person, it is going to look smaller IMO than it is in many pictures. Here’s our first real picture of it taken from “eye height,” and it looks pretty small (overall) to me.

I am now looking for a specific picture, for we have few, of it in front of a Chevy pick up, looking at its rear, which made it look small to me when I first saw it months ago. I hope I can find (.and post it here).

Again with the white interior. My only negative.

Thanks for pointing it out. A clear shot of the light colored interior (had not noticed it until you pointed it out). Hopefully we will have an interior dark colored pillar and head liner option.

Got to say I like this more every time I see it. Cannot wait to see the final product on the formal reveal!!! REALLY cannot wait until they come out with the performance version!! Will have to wait at least a year or longer I am afraid. GOOD LOOKING MACHINE!

Not found it yet, but here is a picture, thanks to FrankLP, showing that even with its extra cover, its thick camo, that its height is about the beltline height of a Chevy truck.

Still not the exact one I am thinking of, but does gives us some size perspective.

I didn't think that it was possible for me to fall in love with this car more than I already was, but these pictures did it.
