  • FVS’ New Side Render

Here is the latest side view rendering by fvs. I just love that peaking out behind the “C” pillar, you can see the stair-stepping of the engine venting.

    THANK YOU FVS!

Many people are adamant that the scoop is more like the C8R scoop shape...and I tend to agree...mostly...but anything is possible. I know some feel it will be "rounded or curved" but I can't really see that since all the other design cues are angular and sharp...but anything is possible... ; )

So this is an adjusted side view with the nose/ front fender made closer to the Ring images and the C8R scoop shape which does reflect and repeat the side window shape so....

The overall flow of the shape is improved in this version IMO

John, It's looking better everyday, fvs does an awesome rendition of what may be. I understand that the side engine & wheel vent may be smaller, I'm curious if that area will effect the fuel intake tube. fvs, throw a set of chrome wheels on that rendering for GP.

It seems not. The "refueling" images at the Ring shows the filler door in the location indicated.

              ill work up a chrome edition ! ; )

I like the fact that you mimicked the 1/4 window with the side intake shape. I'm hoping that those designs tie together similar to what you've rendered. Great job as always FVS

                  Thanks!

I am only guessing at what they may have done but it makes sense. I am sure it will be much more refined with details and exciting sculpted shapes.

Been lurking for a while and decided to join, really getting tired of that other forum. Great work as always FVS. I have been pleased with the potential design of the ME. Funny, after looking at it for a while the the side profile of the C7 now looks dated and clumsy. I grew tired of my C7, sold it, and thought I had enough of Corvettes. Now I'm thinking... one more.

Thanks FVS and great job as usual!!! Every time I talk to someone about the Corvette ME I show your rendering for them to understand.

I love the Torch Red with the black wheels..... Basically that's the 'vert' that I'll be ordering.

GREAT work, as usual, FVS..... Keep the updates coming as information becomes available.

you know best...im just remembering the ferrari testarossa with those huge side strakes that it had...

if i remember corr3ctly it was the government regulations that required or requested those strakes on the ferrari testarossa because the huge side scoops were a pedestrian considered safety issue.

the shape of the scoop on two dimension as shown is cool...i think the pronounced width of the vehicle outward of the scoop might be a bit over the top...

im sire itll be great...i just think the pronounced depth? If thats the correct artist term to consider..

                            i always enjoy your artwork.

I hope that gm doesnt force us into that rear spoiler if we want a z51type model...

i never cared for spoilers shaped like that...small ducktails are ok if the car has to have a spoiler but the pedestal wing is not something I would prefer.
