  • Modified Pic - No Wing

Found this. Still not liking the rear as it appears. This car might look best in convertible form with the flat engine decklid and buttresses with no spoiler.

Is this modified digitally or is this something that was actually photographed?

Just a feeling, but I don't think the vert will have a flat decklid. More than likely it will have some version of double humps or flying buttresses.

I would believe 95+ % that it is a screen print from one of the Nurburgring videos..

UPDATE: As I learned below, my above assessment was totally wrong.

It’s a modified image...just to give you a sense of what I could look like without a wing.

I hope after the camo is lifted, it looks more striking than this. From this angle the ME looks too much like other lesser offerings.

It wasn’t me. I found it. Not my chop skills.

I mentioned that because I don’t want any accusing me of passing something off as my own

I like the C7 best without a spoiler, and after seeing this I think I'll feel the same way about the C8.

If you guys are saying the convertible gets away without that rear wing we ve seen..thats 7500 dollars worth spending...

i am not a fan of being forced to get those rear wings...

a little ducktail im fine with but the wings that sit up on little stumps i just dont like..

im glad im not the only one who prefers a sleeker smoother design.

                          thanks for posting up

I was just thinking a few minutes ago on my way home from the gym, that I will even consider not getting the Z-51 package if that would avoid that spoiler. As teens would say, “not feeling that thing.” YUK! As an earlier comment noted (sorry I can not remember who said it), looks like something out of the 1980’s.

I am so many decades past being a teenager, and I am not feeling it either, in fact the opposite. I hope there is a second factory option as there was in 2014 for the Stingray. I will be all over at least considering it, even if it is only a dealer installed one. And if none, going to then look at ACS Composite’s options.
Enjoying my Shadow gray C8. What a car it is.
