Bobby, I love the 1960s Sunoco station. The detail is perfect. These young C8 millennials don't even know what Sunoco 260 was! I model in the early 1900's on my large scale 1:22.5 railroad layout in the lower level of my home. All my vehicles are Franklin Mint and Danbury Mint metal 1/24 scale from 1907-1934. Can't wait for my C8 - full scale of course!

Wow ... great train layout purple pearl 98! I've always been a big fan of guys who have these intricate train sets. There is so much stuff out there to make them realistic looking, but it still takes great skill and patience to make them look cool.

I wish they were available for Santa delivery.
This is a resin model not diecast. Therefore no opening doors or rear engine cover. Just wanted to make this clear. Also $149 + shipping. I’m not a fan of resin.

I'll wait for a more detailed version. But, there is a black resin model, as well, from TopSpeed Models.

I will wait until it is something far less than $150.00. Not that such a die cast would not be worth it, but right now saving for LPO accessories is my priority.

I can't wait for Mattel to roll out the C8 as a Hot Wheels car. If they know what's good for them they'll do a Torch Red Z51 coupe and a Sebring Orange HTC with top down and black nacelles.
And then come the 1/24 and 1/18 diecast. Maisto, AutoArt, are you guys listening? Gotta get them too. And THEN they can give us the Z06 and Zora versions when the time comes. Whew! Bad Boys (and Gals) have Bad Toys!

I'm glad you liked my pictures of my slot car track. Here's a picture taken from a Ford on Race Day.
The "2015" R/S Camaro is modeled after my winter car. (It was originally a 1/32 Scalextric 1969 Camaro) I make my own decals and do some body work sometimes on the models.
I also like to build model racing boats F1, Unlimited Hydro and Outboard Hydros. "Tony's Hot Dog Stand was built from scratch, no big feat but I did make a 1/32 scale hot dog, ketchup, mustard and a tray, and stuff. Not bad for an old Vietnam Vet.

That's really nice. A few years ago I was asked to build 3 1/20th scale Tamiya Lotus 79 F1 cars that were driven by Mario Andretti. I mounted them to a square wooden board and the President of the Lotus Owners of NY Club took them to Mario and he autographed them. At the Lotus Club get together at Watkins Glen that year (2013 I think) they auctioned them off for a charity that benefitted pit crews of the 60's and 70's that needed medical care and stuff. I felt pretty good about all the time it took me to build them. - Jeff
