Just a heads up...No stop start on the corvettes thank god!

I hate that feature in my wifes cuv...i turn itmoff every time I back out of the garage..

for those who care it really does save 10 percent fuel usage but who cares..

believe it or not my wife likes stop start ...she says it shows her she actually came to a complete stop in her travels...

glad she likes it...I jate it...

as far as fastoys and 69 seeing this zeus bronze beast in person to snap the photos...

how did like the zeus bronze color? Was it under showcar lighting or outdoor natural lighting?

The C8 does NOT have start/stop. Nothing to even defeat once when you first get it, for it has nothing related to stop/stop. Thank you Tadge for disliking it as much as most of us do, and your being able to insure it does not have it.

Please allow me however share that when I have made C8 presentations to Corvette clubs in the last two weeks, even the C8 non-lovers, are happy with the word frunk. Bring smiles and positive comments each time.

Nice however, that we all have different feelings/views.

Something else these photos seem to confirm: No sign of a 48 volt battery.

The C8 does have AFM though, and I do wonder if AFM will be active in all modes, except track...

We believe but am awaiting absolute confirmation, that it will have AFM if the DCT is left in drive (but as you suspect never have it ever in track mode even in drive mode), and further that if you only drive it in its manual mode, always using your paddles, that your car would never experience AFM.

Again, these are beliefs; far from confirmed. However, I expect a lot of such definitive information to come out at Corvettes At Carlisle.

The problem is even worse for those in the UK who call the rear storage compartment of a car a "boot".

                  "Front boot"? "Foreage"? "Froot"?

This wouldn't be a problem if GM hadn't given us TWO of them. I bet Ferrari owners don't have this conundrum.
