  • C8 Zeus Bronze Video

Thanks Mobius for finding this one for us. Fun to watch, and for my friends who were sure they had picked their color, but are now-reconsidering Zeus Bronze (coming up on the outside pole as we head into the stretch run to the finish line), here you go.

I didn’t think anyone would want that color, after seeing the video it might be the best new color (sorry, not a rapid blue fan). I have to see it in person but with the 3LT dipped interior it looks pretty nice. I am getting Torch Red, no deviation or second thoughts, ready to but today....

less than a week for pricing!

It's an interesting color. In some lighting it actually looks greenish and in others more brown. Not my personal first color choice, but it is very unique. I have no idea how Chevy decides on colors because there are many others that would probably sell much better than this bronze. Not hating on the color choice, but it seems like something that all of us that own recent model year Corvettes should be able to rate our favorites. A metallic teal would look great as well as a blackened yellow or a deeper less orange tinted red. Curious to see what the new yellow will look like in person because the build your own or configurator color versions don't seem to always match reality.

The zeus bronze looks excellent as a standard model without the spoilers looks awesome.

Im looking forward to seeing this color in natural light to see if its as stunning as it is under artifical light.

My absolute first choice was Zeus Bronze until they constrained it to the November ordering consensus. I want to order in that first group and I am number one on my dealers list. They are only getting allocation of 5 on that first ordering group. Soooooooooo??????????????????? Red probably or Shadow Gray or the Sebring Orange. Tough tough decision.

i apologize for asking this so please help me understand...

if the order is constrained until nove, ber but production doesnt start until december...what difference does it make when the order goes into the computer?

are we assuming that because zeus bronze doesnt get into the order bank until november that the production of zeus bronze will be 3 months from the beginning of initial production...?

i just think GM is just grouping together various colors and options for planning purposes...not the follow theough on production timelimes..

I'm sure Im wrong bur ..to me this is a way for inventory management to be calculated properly...

that zeus bronze is stunning and if you want that then order zeus bronze.

In the CONSTRAINT RAMP-UP PLAN, Zeus Bronze is in the November ordering cycle and scheduled for weeks 6-9 of production. I would guess that puts it around the beginning of February for actual production.

For myself and I suppose others also, I have a personal reason for wanting to get a car ASAP. I cannot wait for things to happen, so I have to make choices that I can be perfectly happy with even if they were not my first gut reaction choices. I choose to change my build because I choose to not wait, to not waste any time. Time keeps marching forward and nobody can change that. Make use of what you've got.

Im not changing my build...the suppliers will have plenty of time now that there is a uaw strike...ugh!

more importamtly i want what I want...a spread of ten weeks in the scheme of things means nothing.

Has anyone seen the Zeus Bronze, Natural Interior or Natural Dipped Interior with the standard wheels vs. the Pewter Wheels? If so, what is your opinion and are there any pictures of the ZB with the standard wheels available. Thanks in advance.

Looking at all the photos and videos, I have yet to see any ZB with standard wheels. In the configurator, the combo looks like it is wearing the wrong shoes. Unfortunately, that's how my car will show up, but I will not be deterred! I'll will have to learn all about powder coating.

Here's the car with std. wheels. Yikes!
