Wonder when that surprise will be unlocked? Good to see them running around.

Pricing to be released next week on the coupe. How far away can the vert be?
      Let's hope not much farther!

Anybody having second thoughts on the targa to the point of waiting an extra month or two to get the spyder version?

Can't wait to see one with the top down. And yes, I'll wait for the HTV, unless pricing is absurd.

Not second thoughts, just waiting for the spyder version, whats three months when I put my deposit down three years ago. I requested a move to the Spyder list and forfeited the number 2 position on the original list. I initially hoped they would be announced together.

I'll consider waiting to see pricing on the Spyder before locking in to a coupe order. From the pictures I have seen it looks like the roof will be stored above the engine leaving full trunk capacity available when the top is down. That's one thing I love about my C7 convertible - still room for golf clubs (or other stuff) in the trunk with the roof down. This space won't be available in the coupe with the roof panel in the trunk.
1969 Orange L89 Coupe - enjoyed it for 3 years then traded to:
1972 Yellow Convert with removable HT - enjoyed it for 4 years and joined by:
1976 Orange Coupe - didn't use it much and sold after 12 years
2000 Yellow Convertible - new C5 caught my attention and loved it for 15 years
2015 Silver Z51 Convertible - replaced C5 with C7 then traded for GS after 2 years
2017 Torch Red Grand Sport Convertible - still here and LOVING it

I was all in on the Spyder, until I realized the glass engine cover went away. I think that's a deal breaker for me.

Both of my other Vettes were convertibles, absolutely love the look of the targe top roof line and rear end. The HT Vert totally changes its looks from behind, I would not consider changing my mind and getting the HT Vert.

My last 4 have been 'verts' and all my other toys in the garage are 'verts'.... What's a couple extra months when I've had deposits out for 18+ months. By the way, I really think the top and rear window will store 'vertically' behind the seats/rear firewall like our SSr did. If that's the case, I wonder why they don't have the transparent panel over the engine??? Cooling issue??? Maybe it will be an option or the aftermarket may just jump on it.....
2020 HTC Torch Red with lots of goodies. Built in September. Museum Delivered in October......

Other toys in the garage: Ferrari California, BMW i8 Roadster, Bentley Flying Spur, Chevy SSr

Having owned several mid engine cars some with visible engine (including my original street version MK2 GT40) I can take or leave the covered engine, but cant get past the luggage space for the wife when we travel and being able to power the top down without shuffling luggage or manually trying to fit a targa top in with the luggage far out weighs the bling in my world.

Given it has a targa top, I will get my coupe as soon as available. Once Z06 is available, I will order that in spider.
