I made a better overview of the color palette of the C8, trying to match all colors als close as possible to what we can see on real photos:

Three grey colors, white and black. Well I guess they have that spectrum covered! Add a rapid blue and it looks to me they are copying Porsche.

Out on the road on sunny days the dark metallic colors look amazing. But in the garage and cloudy days not so much. For some reason blade silver imo doesn’t look that good on the C8 and I’m surprised. On the C7 I prefer silver over red . So far I’m into torch red or black . I’m sure red will be a popular color like on Ferrari’s. If it’s not red it’s not a Ferrari. Lol 😂

I don't get the love for dark colors on a sports car either, but neither Porsche nor GM would be offering so many of these colors if they weren't what buyers wanted.

I, for one, am very disappointed by the pallette for both the interior and exterior -- they both lack style and imagination. (I spend some of my time designing interiors and exteriors for private jets). You'd think after spending billions developing the C8, their designers would have bought a new PMS (color guide) book and really made a visual statement. Maybe they will learn and make corrections for the 2021.

GM made a lot of changes year by year on the C7. The bronze has been very popular on SUVs. If you like that one I’d get one the first year or two. Remember what happened to Lime Rock Green on the C7. Lime Rock looks great but it didn’t sell.

Personally I don’t get the attraction to silver and grey. I prefer colors that are easier to see in traffic or parking lots. What’s the first thing they say after an accident? “I didn’t see you”.

Some of us prefer the stealth, Batmobile look of a dark metallic color.

I love the pictures put together to compare, but I would like to see each colors on the C-8 in the sun, and in the shade of the sun to see how they really look.

Have a better one for you C7Redneck. I have a 2015 Chrystal Red Z06 and get a ton of complements on that color. That was also a low volume ordered color so Chevy discontinued in and replaced it with the darker Long Beach Red. Nice color, but doesn't pop as much as the Chrystal Red in my opinion.

For this years colors, I'd have to lean towards the Sebring Orange Tintcoat, Rapid Blue (although a Ford Mustang color ) or possibly the Accelerate Yellow Metallic. Agree with MReid though, would need to see these colors on a C8 in the sun to decide.

I agree. The yellow on most of the pictures looks more lime-yellow than the C6 Velocity Yellow (better known as State Trooper Velocity Yellow) or the C7 Racing Yellow.

Thanks Tiki Owl for your first post. Accelerate has some green in it. It also has metallic. I like the comparison to a tennis ball.

It’s all personal choice but I agree with you. Hoping they have a yellow at NCM!
