  • 2020 C8 Rendering Challenge - What would your ME Corvette look like?

    It would be interesting to see what our resident rendering artists and other so inclined members could come up with to answer the question;
"If you were tasked with designing the new Mid Engine Corvette what would it look like???"

I would love to see what the community came up with!!!

Interesting Question, but 5 days too late.

KNOWING WHAT WE KNOW NOW, THIS IS IT. There is no going back to ante-07.18.19. The known C8 has design qualities beyond the superficial . The car has storage no one anticipated . A pricing no one imagined. It has been accepted by the following .

You might get some traction calling for speculation on the Z06, which is the next batter up. But most speculation on the Z06 is stats and performance, flat crank? weight? it's known what it will look like, but not known just how wildly so, it will look.

It will look like the C8 Stingrays extroverted twin been smoking something.

I'm really liking the cars look without either of the large spoilers!

'64 Silver Grey Coupe (custom paint)- still our favorite
        '13 White/Blue Diamond 427 60th roadster - favorite late model
        Several others including two C7's

'20... Zeus Bronze Coupe, 2LT, GT2 seats, Natural two tone, Body color accents, Pewter wheels- 10/1/20😀 GAME CHANGER

The renderers probably need a break, they sure have been busy and kept us all entertained. To do a rendering now that is not a C8 would be anti productive. It would basically be another car. But yes, yje next renderings may be the ZO6 and other following perf. models.

I like it with, with out, half way on and half way off, in all colors, in all interiors, all exteriors, all wheels, with and without stripes, hash marks, fully loaded and stripped. The thing is simply badd.

As has been said before: that Configurator is Sick! Absolutely sick.

I thought Xmas was fun as a kid. Xmas was nothing like the Configurator.

The Render Experts are currently absorbed in the "C8 Configurator". Check it out and have some fun.

Carscoop nailed the photo renderings in torch red , z51 with black interior and black wheels...

                i wouldnt change a thing...

of course as a much younger man I loved my torch red z06 with black rims with a polished lip...so Im biased.

i realized its slightly dated or possibly cliche but I dont care...

who would have ever thought these color combos and wheels would be slihtly old fashioned...but again... i just dont care...

it makes me smile when I look at it...

there are of course so many great color and wheel combos.....

there really isnt a right or wrong choice...

just the one that rings your bell. Click image for larger version Name:	7E3CEE57-E9E5-4845-A835-8316DA40BFD7.jpeg Views:	0 Size:	48.2 KB ID:	49844

I agree, wish we could get all the wonderful goodies in the Z51 package but without the spoiler and splitter.

The splitter is probably easy enough to remove, but I guess the spoiler would leave some holes in the rear deck. Oh well, I'm sure I'll be able to live with them.
