Those pics, while taken under the same conditions still don't do justice to seeing them in person.
Add in the black wheels and roof on the E ray and it just adds more confusion.
If I lost out on ELB due to being discontinued I would probably opt for HSG instead of smurf.
With ANY color I would always recommend seeing it in person.

2022 HTC with 2LT, front lift, msrc, npp, elb with two tone seats, and CF int.
    HRE wheels are on!

Yes this is especially true with colors that have metallic in them and under different lighting conditions if possible. Red mist and ELB, are good examples as they look far different under florescent light then they do under sun light.

They put 1 billion into the paint shop make some supercar colors!!
Talk to any cop, and they'll tell you they really don't pay attention to color. You get a ticket if they catch you on radar, whether your car is Red, White or Blue. Now then, driving a Corvette rather than a minivan may make you more of a target. Otherwise, I agree with your lament about the Corvette's color pallet.

Hopefully this thread is helpful for buyers who need to make a difficult paint decision, now that Elkhart Lake Blue has been discontinued without prior notice.

I took these 2 paint samples that were offered after the Museum Bash's main presentation,
and delicately laid them on this Riptide Blue E-ray's hood, to take these pics.
Rapid Blue sample is on the Left, and a Elkhart Lake Blue sample is on the Right.

Been waiting for my Elkhart Lake Blue allocation, but I am happy with the Riptide Blue as well.
Hypersonic Gray is my Forum choice, and looks amazing with matte paint protection film.
If I was forced to order a 2023 today, I'd go with HSG.
Rapid Blue is my #3 choice, and the reason why I laid both a Rapid Blue Sample, and a Elkhart Lake Blue Sample, on the Riptide Blue E-ray.

John Elegant's Elkhart Lake Blue ZO6 delivery photo taken at the same setting/time by the same camera for reference.
Would have been nice to have parked the 2 cars side by side for photos to compare blues.Click image for larger version Name:	John's ELB for reference.jpg Views:	10 Size:	3.49 MB ID:	483757

Thanks for posting these pictures [email protected] . The first picture shows the contrast between the two blues a lot better than other pictures and gives me a good idea of the difference as I've seen quite a few ELB Corvettes. The new Rip Tide Blue is lighter in comparison and it seems to reflect light differently too.

Great idea to lay the actual paint plastic pieces onto the car. Your pictures/EFX pleas confirms what the thread from two days ago showed, how closed ELB is to Riptide.
