Is that a Ferrari at NCM?

Anybody can mod their car to their taste after delivery; however, IMHO this badge should have been added after the NCM delivery and not be representative of what NCM stands for. The Jake and corvette emblem on a yellow Ferrari base looks fake. Just my opinion.

Yes agree with most: it's "hideous" IMO and most C8 and Ferrari owners will likely find it in poor taste.

BUT hopefully there's a long story that has lots of meaning to the owner of this C8...which meant the NCM was OK with the decal being added...and perhaps if we all understood the background story, we'd be OK with it too. Whatever the reason, it's something that grabs the attention of knowledgeable sport car people and perhaps (?) that's another reason for it (to get your attention or stir up controversy)???

If the owner belongs to MECF, perhaps we can get an explanation...

Yeah, I remember seeing that one. You're right, it's worse than the one on delivery row. And neither for me, either.

It’s quite possible it’s going through the delivery experience program. Anyone can have a NCM delivery done after the fact.

I may do it for mine in the next year or two. And mine wasn’t delivered with any decals. All put on after PPF.

The world ran out of names years ago. I guess now we have run out of decal shapes and colors and they have to be recycled like names are. LOL

Doesn't really look good on the C8. But, I think in general that's not a bad location for a discreet decal, maybe the word Stingray just above the fender crease? But it would have to be small, no large badges there.

Perfect if the owner likes it. Don’t even have time (or reason) to dislike another person’s build.

Personally I could not care less what other people think of my cars.

Have no idea why some people like to call out other people like this. It is often the people who are most sensitive to what other people think, in my experience.

If the lucky owner is on MECF I would like to say: what a great car. There is no such thing as a bad build. If I liked a certain mod that nobody than me in the world liked, I would not hesitate one second to do it.

You know, it's your C8 and you can adorn it anyway you want. That said, here's my problem with the whole concept: When Ferrari does it, they do it right... this isn't that.

The Ferrari logo isn't vinyl, it's cloisonne, a jewel-like bit of art. It's a material, design and execution commensurate with the automobile. On many (most?) Ferrari's, the badge is attached into an embedded portion of the fender panel. Again, a design and execution commensurate with the car. A vinyl sticker on a Corvette isn't that, IMO.



FWIW, that Ferrari badge is an option. I remember reading a Maroney Sticker on a 458 a few years ago and I think that Ferrari logo was about $1,600.... and in person, it looks like it.

I try not to be negative, but the vinyl logo is a "no" for me. That said, if anyone knows of a cloisonne-type C8 logo out there I'd love to hear more.

I see you folks found my car, It getting tint, PPF,Ceramic and a Graphic on the trunk/engine cover I am picking it up some time today I was going to post a picture to thank every one on this forum who have been so nice in answering all my questions prior to ordering ,well actually after I ordered my car. I will also up date my post with pictures of what a comes with a 3lt with sueded steering wheel (there is no suede on the console) Again thank you every one for recognizing my car at delivery bay 7 , Remember SAVE THE WAVE!

I don’t like emblems and badges of any kind. I think they are annoying and catch the threads of the towels etc…

they accumulate dirt around the edges. Just a PIA in my opinion.

id suggest it’s just a joke to garner a little extra humor on delivery cameras.
