    Crossposted from CorvetteBlogger.com:

Like we’ve seen previously on the C6 and C7 models, and now continuing with C8 Corvette is how the Corvette Team is always looking for new ways to personalize the Corvette with each new model year.

While exploring the latest Corvette model on the 2024 E-Ray Visualizer, we must have unlocked an achievement level with our 100th build as we noticed new Stripe options were added to the Exterior tab.

Hopefully, you like Carbon Flash, as the new Stripe options are all Carbon Flash Metallic with five different color accents along the edges. Those accent colors are Blue, Yellow, Orange, Red, and Silver.

The overall design of the stripe is also different than the existing full-length racing stripes as they form a point in front of the cross flags emblem on the nose, as opposed to going all the way to edge. On the rear, the stripe goes over the rear spoiler and stops at the top of the third brake light. The existing stripes go all the way down to the Carbon Flash rear fascia.

Here are some “visualized” examples of the new Carbon Flash stripes:

Of my five visualizatons, my favorite is the Hypersonic Gray with the Carbon Flash/Red accents, especially with the Dipped Adrenaline Red interior. Wow! Those subtle accents on each of the stripes gives the cars a completely different look over having just a Carbon Flash stripe running the lenght of the car. Color matching or contrasting with the interior and brake calipers is now easier to do and the combinations you can come up can insure your C8 Corvette is a one-of-one!

They look great. Thanks CorvetteBlogger for creating this thread. Of fun and importance for 2024 C8 buyers (and of course retro to 2020-2023’s.

I did the stripes on my 2020 Stingray, however don't really like them. Would have rather had none, I will pass this time around. Possibly will have something different painted on.

I had some hood stripes (stinger stripes) applied. they looked meh on the visualizer but in person was beautiful. then I had ppf applied and the haloing makes the front of the car look really bad with the haloing around the decals. To the point I may have to have ppf removed, which will remove the stripes, then have the ppf reapplied and decide if stripes go over. it is a lot of money in rework but something to consider when getting stripes and speaking to your ppf installer.

It's about time. The former stripes just looked too plain for me. If they'd offered these in 2022, I might have ordered stripes.

Did they get rid of the front hash marks for all models 2023? I don't see them in build and price any more (granted I haven't gone to build and price in over a year), and don't see them in the visualizer?

That cacti color… i cant decide if i love it or hate it….
im not a atripes guy but those all look nice, i think its how close together they are it looks like a strip of the car color between them.. i mean, there is always the strip of car dolor, but i think where these are closer together the strip of car color sticks out more.

i think the blue looks slick!

this is GREAT info to share and the first I am hearing of this being a problem. Would love it if people who ordered factory stripes of any kind (full length or stinger) then did PPF are having the same 'haloing' not sure what that even means problem.. Have any of you applied the stripes on top of the ppf at a later time as suggested here? This is a good topic to discuss... maybe even start in its own thread?

Let me post some pics. Essentially the ppf lifts slightly due to the height change from the paint to the decal and it creates an air bubble-type look all the way around the decal. I reached out to a few other experts who said the "haloing" is common when decals are under ppf and I should have had the decals removed and applied over the ppf.

                              Close up -
