In the newest teaser video, this vert is shown, however, the rear diffuser is much more aggressive and sticks out significantly farther than any of the other mules. The side boards also appear more aggressive. Could this be our first look at the 'R'?

^^Yep, that's what I meant. I think that this is the 'Z06' equivalent, which we have heard whispers is called the 'R'.

The spider rear seems to work very well with the body style.

I enhanced the photo and studied the proportions which seem to be the same as what we've been seeing thus far. The black velcro left from where they applied the Camo makes it appear that those parts are sticking out further. The angle of the photo is also playing into that. Also the back end is far more sculpted then people think. It's far from a Camaro and closer to a Lamborghini rear end. It's a good distance from where the rear quarters end to the point where the trapezoid is coming out at you. To me that is a very nice transition from the high arch curves to the flat angles.

What is very notable though in this photo is that this is the first time you are seeing the uncovered buttresses of the Spyder version minus any Camo!
