Clearly GM is going for it at the Nurburgring. How many days might they be there? Is this, due to the N’Rings unique characteristics GM using that location to further fine tune the car before production starts?

Rear spoiler looks better than some other test mules.

surprised they are still running those huge side scoops.

pretty soon I thought we would see the test mules without those wide side scoops

Thanks JB, for specifically pointing out that better-than-before looking Z51 spoiler! The height to the top of the spoiler is estimated at about 36 inches, whereas our average eye height is around 60.” That will result in our looking downward onto the top of that spoiler — which will further minimize its visual impact.

Things are looking better re the Z-51’s spoiler!

Not scientifically, I “managed” the Motor1 above picture to try and give us a more accurate visual picture of how we would see it “in rear life.”

ID:	43378 In this image you can see inside the scoop a bit. Note the bottom edge of the scoop ( inside) ends mid door and curves in toward the car.

If this is real it is closer to the CAD scape dns size.

Seeing that car coming at you, even in the rear view mirror, could be very scary. The stance on this car is menacing!

Fun, but difficult for me to eliminate camo.

Don’t these tail lights look different than in the video the other day.

Looks like the tires are unloading on the outside in a hard turn in, and more body roll than I would expect. However, I have no idea at the speed they are running going in. Please GM, just keep testing, and improving the HP car, so it's as close to perfect as possible when it is released. I'll be ready, when you are.

              Regards Brian

The C7 Z06 was further modified at least 3 1/2 months after its reveal (source was Tadge, when he told us at a Bash seminar that its spoiler size and its angle was going to change from the version were looking at there in the room, changing as result of their latest testing).

I believe your request that there be further testing and development would continue, is still happening

Final, final testing won't take place until they unwrap the C8 from its camouflage (in 15 days!)! I'm sure they've had naked C8's in a wind tunnel but that type of testing can't replicate "real life" on the road, and especially track, testing.

I have to agree JB and John, not that much padding on the Spoiler, it is starting to look better. AND, it would only be in GMs best interest to start minimalizing the CAMO especially on the side scoops. It just keeps us who are in the know and looking at this on a daily basis more curious. I know if I was a GM marketing person I would be paying attention to this forum and others to get the responses from the those like us , that are so tuned into to this car. . Sure, we will all know in two weeks. But right now it is people like John and forum members that are promoting this car. I , myself get several calls a day from my Ferrari and Porsche buddies that want updates and I always suggest to join the forum.Nice photos.
I sure hope before reveal, GM has enough sense to get a good lap time and make it official, something they never did with the C7 pre launch, according to Jim Mero.

Thanks ZORA 69 for suggesting to your Ferrari and Porsche buddies that they join us here. We welcome all sports car lovers, and if one wants to stay informed with breaking C8 news, we do an okay job of that (LOL), i.e., already MECF has been cited over 100 times by over 25+ major auto media for our doing that.

OH, I do really believe that Corvette Nut may be affiliated with GM as he seems to be everywhere and that certain leaks are intentional. The other day we saw the dash/ guages, this posts reveals a better look at the spoiler. I see one photo with no covering over engine window, COULD THE ENGINE WINDOW VIEW BE THE NEXT REVEAL (Intentionally) What What I am really praying for is for a better configuration reveal of the tail pipes. I hope that is not the final product (Square Pipes)

Hey John, I am doing my best to promoting this site. But Ferrari Guys are Ferrari guys. And I make fun of them all the time for their expensive cars they can not drive because they are broke. I do have one friend that does all his own mechanical work on his Ferrari and is not dependant on rip off ferrari dealers and he is coming over to Corvette when a ZO6 equivalent

A top dealer has two current Ferrari owners on his C8 list; both are planning to keep them, have their C8 be their daily driver. Makes sense to me.

Don't worry, others will be making fun of us for buying Fiero Mk.II's
I've already had one comment like that from a buddy and the car won't even arrive for months!
