Specifically, here was vettedna’s earlier today post here on MECF:

The Germans are also doing their rendering jobs, one of their latest is pretty good actually. While basically there is nothing new, I think you might want to see what they are expecting. They tend to follow the CGI trends we keep seeing with a touch of simplicity. Of course the wheels are over the top (maybe those from the La Voiture Noire), but if you like the renderings so far, you might love this.
This is what vettedna specifically is sharing with us; please stay with the video until its second half!

Interesting thoughts they show in the render. But correct me if I am wrong but didn't GM acknowlegde that the C8 would not go to Europe because of their new emission standards?

Interesting presentation. Especially that he mentions 558PS for the C8 and gives European value of C7 as 90,450 Euro versus "slightly" under 100,000 Euro for the C8.

GM stopped sales of the C7 and the current Camaro early due to tightening emissions reg, but the C8 is full speed ahead for Europe and more.

Very cool news. I missed that one. Thanks John. No wonder they are anxious to see the C8.

It reinforces those arching to the outside, channeling air around the windshield, “air gullys” that fvs and Chazcron showed us earlier — and that are found on the current McLaren’s and several Ferraris, e..g, creating downforce and eliminating drag, helping to keep the air flowing and connected to the sides of the car as it goes around the cabin.

At the same time, with our eyes being 5’ above the ground, not the roughly 2 1/2” above as that picture’s perspective, we will later be looking downward onto the hood — and it would consequently look more attractive that that video capture.

I wish I had software that I could load renderings into, changing all that we see to how we would see it as when we are standing 5-10’ away from the car, looking at the car as we would in real life. Anyone know of an app that allows pictures to be changed that way please?

The car is going to be a big seller in Europe. I am sure GM is banking on it. I like the wheels.

I do too, they should include them as part of the options

Love, love, love the firewall forward and the wheels in this rendering. I think they have the doors, engine cooling inlets, and the rear deck spoiler wrong, like everyone else.

Congratulations Mr Happy. Nice first post. We are going to be able to track each order’s status here by the same GM method.

They did an excellent job, one of my favorite renders yet. Just wish they would have given us a still shot of each angle, rather than zooming in.
