Here is his earlier work. BTW, he was a GM designer way back in 1973.

OUCH, That rear end is horrible. Looks like Viper tail lights. I had a Viper, hated it.6 mpg around town. Hated the tail lights and the worst part was it had DODGE engraved into the rear bumper. But what makes sense in this latest rendering is that the side scoop does not have that jagged edge on the door. If the scoop goes into the door this aspect of the rendering makes more sense than other renderings I hace see.
The tail lights with have a slight difference to that of the C7, remember the biggest initial complaints in 2013 was the drastic change from the round tail lights that Corvette has been known for since day one to that of the C7. I do not think GM will put a dodge viper looking tail light on the Corvette. IMO
^agree on the scoop part. That is much more inline with what I think we will see at the top of the door (and even that is a little bigger than I expect).
The renders exhibit continuity of line(s) . The essential lines pickup and continue on the other side of spaces, wheel arches, interruptions and gaps. That looks convincing. Like what a designer would find irresistable. Cute side vent that I hope motivated GM towards an alternative with swagger. But it's still cute.
