  • C8 Swimming In The Rain

Not literally, but golly, you mean a Corvette can get wet and still be fun with. When we got our C6 Z06 Museum Delivery, the first three days home were dry, and then a 3” rain in one hour while driving on I-70. Similarly, identical location, we experienced identical gully-washer though in our C7 Z06 many years later; ****, our Corvettes are fun in the rain once we realize that we can still enjoy them — and that they clean up beautiful when washed later.

Thanks to Corvette_Nut for this video.

Our Museum delivery was great, we left early afternoon to drive just east of Nashville to a Band B . Got caught in a Hail storm. Hail was small about 3/8” but I figured that was it for our brand new car with 100 miles on it. Later inspection showed no damage at all. We were amazed

I'm not a big fan of driving my Vettes in the rain, but they clean up nice after. The majority of the times I've been caught is when I'm 500 miles from home in Carlisle, Pa. for the big show.

Boy, Corvette Nut is "suspiciously" present on a number of occasions filming the C8. Thanks for all of the videos.

How does Corvette_Nut be everywhere? A friend of mine laughingly suggested that he long ago placed GPS trackers on all the C8’s. We sure however are appreciative, have had from him great videos and pictures to tide us over until the real thing.

Does Corvette Nut work for GM? Is this GMs attempt to slowly leak footage? Is the car going to be totally surprising from what we have seen in in renderings? mmm
I live in the Rain State (Florida) can say My c7 hasn't seen the rain. never even had to put more then a rinse and wipe dry to it

I've speculated he/she/they are Top Secret Black Op GM associates that may or may not actually exist. They've spotted C8 mules across the US. I've modified this description to pluralize Corvette_Nut. Likely not a single individual. Has done a great job for us.

Maybe a highlight of the 07/18/19 reveal can be the reveal of Corvette_Nut!!

When a top member of the Corvette was asked this question directly by a person I know who reports everything back accurately, the team member said that “Corvette_Nutt does not work for us.”

Yes. And David Ortiz getting shot was purely a case of mistaken identity.

I know right, I don't buy that and obviously you don't either. Someone's hiding something 🤔😁

But who is "us"? He could work for GM but not the Corvette team. Or for a public relations firm contracted by GM. Or any number of other loose associations.
