New Black Are Beautiful Renderings!

With black cars, it's hard to tell which one is too dark or not dark enough, so here's two.

Then some modifications to Chaz’s work that were done by Jeradl1987.

Chaz has amazing skills and I look forward to his posts every time I see the update on this thread. I wanted to give a little take on what I think would look good on the car and that would be to get rid of the amber reflector in the Headlamp, black out the wheels, and the “blade” for a more “Sinister” look. Also added some headlamp beam glow for effect.

I played a little for fun with the first one, e.g., contrast, special effects, lighting, and came up with this one (not much different). In the one immediately above, I like Jerradl’s removal of the amber reflector within the headlight, but doubt that that could be legally done.

And then Chaz took a suggestion by fvs to lighten the background, took Jerradl’1987’s changes too, and consequently we now get this. Great collaboration.

Very nice. I was planning on doing blackout wheels, but didn’t. Should have lightened the background as FVS suggested. It just needs more intensity at the light lens and a good blue lens flare.

Black looks real good it just depends on the lines of the car. Silver really brings out the sculpture lines the best. Since I’m retired I have the time to keep black looking good and don’t drive her in bad weather.
Can’t wait to see her and her price ASAP. Maybe we will see a teaser real soon.

I'd think that they would have one more teaser before the reveal. If they do, then I don't see it being any later than two weeks out from the event. So fingers crossed for later this month or very early July!

The Corvette is America’s Sports Car, so July 4th would be very appropriate.
