[PICS] Corvette Forum Renders the C8 Corvette ZORA/ZR1

The Corvette Team jokes often about the attention span of Corvette enthusiasts who when introduced to a new model immediately want to know what’s next.

With the C8 Corvette reveal now less than a month away, our friends at the Corvette Forumare doing just that with a set of new mid-engine Corvette renders that explore the “premium performance model” that may be called the ZORA or ZR1.

We admit that after all the pics and videos of the C8 mules and renders that have fueled our thirst for the mid-engines over the last few months, it is fun to dream about what the Corvette designers will have in store for the higher performance models.

Assuming they follow the previous recipes for success, we’ll most likely see a version of the base model that is wider and features additional aerodynamic properties while additional vents and larger scoops may be employed.

It’s been rumored that the highest performing Corvette will have upwards of 1,000 hp or more and there is a possibility of a hybrid version where electric motors mounted to the front wheels to create an AWD monster.

These renders from the Corvette Forum are well done in our opinion, and the only features we are questioning are the choice of rear wing and the single center exhaust port. In the end, these renders, like those from FVS and Chazcron, are just an artist’s take on what the future might hold for the Corvette brand.

Not for me. And where did they get the idea that the C8 will have those ugly C7 style side marker lights?

These are exciting pictures. Well not the wing nor the side reflectors; but the rest of them.
Enjoying my Shadow gray C8. What a car it is.

Your got that right Muldoon. I will be that the Corvette team, collectively, gets asked over 25 questions by the many media at the reveal, and in the days afterwards, about future models, e.g., the Z06, ZR1 & ZORA. I can understand what a PIA it must be to be on the receiving end of repetitive questions you can only answer (that is if you want to keep your job), by saying, “We do not comment about future potential product.”

I like that car, nothing is perfect and there are one or two angles on my c7z that I am not a big fan of but overall I’ll buy that in a heartbeat, same as my Z, and enjoy every single mile in it.

On on the positive side, you could bungee a third golf bag onto that wing for you golf bugs!

Or even better- my kids just bought me inflatable paddleboards that pack into a backpack the size of a golf bag- which fit perfectly into the Z for cross country explorations.

As as much as I really really really want a super light weight stripper(car that is), the current c7 is so well rounded that I would have a hard time sacrificing much. I just did an impromptu 1900 mile, two day trip in it and it was super fun and comfortable. I can’t really say I would opt for a radio and air conditioner delete if it were offered.

2026 model year, e.g., just over 2,126 days away from its reveal. Let’s create a countdown clock, start some polls as to its reveal colors (laughing at ourselves).

I’d would option my C9 with 4 wheel drive and all electric motors at 1000 horsepower. and the larger more powerful battery with 1200mile range. And oh yea, Black Rose color with ghost flames.no need to store 2 golf bags, but do need some room for 2 walkers
