My ME Corvette Render

okay guys so ever since today’s pics went online of the C8.R testing I have been on my phone using my finger painting the camo to “production” style. It is for sure not great but just an idea of maybe what to come?? Please let me know what you think and Thank you!!

If you are wanting to have more fun with it, I think a few changes would get you closer. However, I am impressed with what you did on your phone, for I got a “D” in fourth grade art because as my art teacher said, “I can’t tell whether you were trying to draw a cat or an elephant.”

Especially talented with your doing it on the phone, for again it looks like a 2020 ME.

However, if you are wanting some feedback, thinking about doing another version, these are the little things I would suggest you re-examine:

Your windshield is higher than it should be; re the rear “fender haunches” (top height of the rear fender forward), the distance on the C8.R from that top point on the ridge extends further forward than you have it. And one other tiny refinement, would be to have the distance in front of the hood’s V emblem could be a little more forward.

Well done, and if you had fun doing it, that is all that counts. One thing for sure, is you helped someone thinking about get his/hers in orange, decide if that it the final choice for them.

Thank you John for the feedback! It was literally an after work color in type deal and should of took more time on it, was too excited to see the finished product haha, but I plan on doing a better version with your ideas and help, and hope to have it up soon, O honestly cannot wait to see FVS(firstvettesoon) do something with this now that we have more pics! I bet he will knock it out of the park!??

There is a reason why we three forum owners, yesterday decided to gave fvs a new “title” yesterday, adding “Artist Extraordinaire” under his forum name. He is such a rare combination of a pure artist and also being a super-skilled, CAD expert/industrial artist.

And as we know, he is also ME Corvette addicted.

Great work...just a tip..the wheelbase could be extended a bit in your red beauty...(meaning the door is a little bit longer on the race car weve seen today..imo)

i for one was shocked to see such intricate sirface detailing on tje c8 R today as well..

all forms used to rebalance the visuals in dealing with a rear mid engine design successfully.

those are very tough shapes to bring into production cars.

I think it's a very positive sign that so many people are enthused about the next generation Corvette.

When folks like xXColorShiftXx and fvs are eager/committed to producing their visions of the C8 (no matter the level of execution), this is a sign that there's something very special about THIS NEXT generartion of Corvette.

Keep up the excitement and creativity all! I think that it really does add to the excitement and momentum.

Thank you! its not easey getting colors to flow together without looking cartoonish, FVS has really good renders that look more Realistic. I look forward to his Renders and when this thing debuts GM is going to hire him haha

There was a rumor elsewhere that fvs was a GM employee and that this renderings were part of the pre-reveal tease. I can tell you that rumor was/is categorically wrong!
