The great C8 stance! Way back, we c7pimp commented about how great the C8’s stance was. He specifically compared it to this older Aston Martin ME.

With all the padding and camouflage covering up most of the shape, I cannot say. I expect it will be great, though.

John I agree with you the stance of this car is going to be awesome. I know it is a visual thing for most but the rendors that FVS and Chazcron have done give us a great vision of what the car will be. I cannot wait to see it in person soon.

455SDguy, I heard a rumor that you are now on a top dealership, pre-order, C8 priority list. Congratulations to you.

Stopped by a local car show on Sunday and that's all the Corvette group were talking about: What's the C8 going to look like?

They were also asking why I didn't show my C4 or C7 and the C7 was only in the parking lot.

Thanks. I was talking to a Sr. Editor of a major auto-media firm last week and he was noting that whenever they have a C8 article, that that one has that day’s screaming interest (clicks). He said in his 20 years of covering cars, that the anticipation/buzz for the C8 is/has been # 1. Perhaps that is why GM is not right now putting out more, that the buzz at the local and national level is already so great. However, he too expects that as we get closer to the reveal, we will see much more from GM.

That entire photo is tilted down to the left, though. Look at the curbing, and the trees. And the people, too. So the downward rake of the car is exaggerated a bit in that shot.

meyerweb is correct. The photo is slanted off horizon and doesn't accurately reflect the stance of the C8. Further, the photo appears to have been taken with a wide angle lens that actually distorts the car subtlety, for example, in this image I have attempted to get the photo closer to the proper horizontal alignment, but notice that the individuals on both the left and right of the car (behind it) are tilted opposite directions.

While that one pic might not for show the C8’s stance for the reasons above noted, these four pictures show its great stance.

mmm John, Whatever the photographer or viewers of these photos may or may not have had in mind with the obvious of different observations and comments. I think we can all agree that this is going to be an awesome car.

Zora69 your comments are dead on. Opinions are opinions but I also agree with John that the stance is going to be awesome. I remember a post months ago that showed a C8, Ferrari 488 and Acura Nsx from the side all alined on the same page. All 3 had almost identical stances. Case dismissed.

I think the below pic allows a glimpse of stance. The camo negates curves and flow. The duck tape accentuates it. A take-away and a partial give back. Looks like the tape is attached to the true contour of something (maybe the real production pannels).

One can see stance in this, if willing to take a harmless risk.

The "ring" pix seem to have the least amount of Camo, as well as, the duct tape/Velcro ones that are more recent. The stance and lack of padding shows pretty well. The side scoop is still a bit "wacky", but I think FVS/Chaz have the best renders out there right now.

Muscular ME stance. I am loving the powerful rear fender upward arc, and with the car being a major coke bottle from a bird’s eye view (per those who have seen it), those two things are together accentuating the car’s stance IMO.
