  • Black Is Beautiful C8 Renderings

Thank you FVS and Chazcron for making me reconsider what I wowed twenty years ago, i.e., to never get another black Corvette. So tempting; so very tempting. Right now temptation is winning.

Beautiful, but I won't be subjecting myself to the level of maintenance black requires. I love to detail, but won't do black any more. Silver or light/medium blue works for me.

Yep silver for me also. The 63 SW coupe in silver with red interior is my favorite. My feeling is the C8 will be even more a game changer then the 63 SW was when it hit the streets. I remember that car so well.... like out of this world type design. The future arrived in 1963 .
      2023 HTC. Black/ black …. Delivery date.4/24/23 🤛

I wonder if GM is going to offer wild colors like Lambo does.

I agree capevettes, black is great looking in FVS's renders and will be killer in person I'm sure, but my C8 is going to see daily driver usage, and black is just too hard for me to keep up with. I did the crystal coating on my black NSX, and it has held up very well, but I don't drive that daily. Big kudos to those of you who daily drive your black cars.

Knowing GM, the orange is about as wild as they get unless you consider the slime green they offer on the Camaro.

I can only imaging how hard it is to keep a black car looking nice here in the NorthEast where the pollen at this time of year causes every car to turn a shade of green/yellow. It can be washed at 10 am and full of pollen by 1 pm.

I love Night Race Blue with Brownstone. If the C8 were to offer that, for sure it would be in my garage!

Well maybe in the past... GM could well have a surprise for us for the C8. Maybe two???

                      BLACK isn't a color.... it's a job!

I'm still going with Torch Red. I really do appreciate all the efforts that it takes to 'show' a black car. I think there should be a separate award category for black cars.
2020 HTC Torch Red with lots of goodies. Built in September. Museum Delivered in October......

Other toys in the garage: Ferrari California, BMW i8 Roadster, Bentley Flying Spur, Chevy SSr

I like night race blue as well. 1st 2014 roadster I saw at Laguna Seca, during Monterrey week August 2013, was NRB. I said to my buds ... there is my next Corvette. I ended up with torch red, but I still think NRB was a great color.
