  • C8 Taillights, Our Holiday Present

After over two months this fall of our not seeing a single picture not a single video, or other sighting of the ME Corvette, this was our early Christmas present. We thank Lanky Turtle for the video (linked below) which created this early screen print picture of the ME’s production taillights.

Thank you very much for this early, December 6th, holiday present for us all.

Yes that's a great shot. You had my jaw drop reading the title. I was hoping for a real picture of a naked one, lets hope those are going to be on the street production version. I for one really like them.

Only one slight problem with the video 'sighting' vs the daytime leaked images. If you watch the video carefully, the exhausts are much more centered (like the ZR1) than the ME daytime images show, IMO.

Good catch Jeff. For sure the C8.R is going to be different at the back, not just the exhaust you caught, but the diffuser and more. However, they do run production headlights most of the time on their C6.R, C7.R etc racecars, and interestingly as soon as those pictures surfaced, GM has been trying to throw us off track with some black tape camo over parts of the lights, i.e., I think we “got too close” for their comfort.

          Thank you.
