  • Exciting C8, 360 Video Rendering

Thanks to bdsvavars, we have an exciting, 360-degree, rotisserie view, very short video. Great job Bjorn!

That's a good looking sports car! No spoiler either...

    Active aero?

Most compelling look yet at the C8. A 3D look gives much better indication of design and proportion than any 2D pic possibly can. There is no lens distortion. Great work.

Very cool to see the 360. Too bad it doesn't incorporate a side scoop cut farther back, which is fairly certain to be the case.

Seeing the different perspectives on the 360 turn nicely illustrates the overall "personality" of the car, even if some details still need tweaked.

May I offer a dissenting reply?

Excellent work that reveals a Corvette boldly going where no Vette has gone before: "UNATTRACTIVE, IMO."

Again??? Feel the need to pollute this forum too?

That's ok, but please step aside. I wouldn't want you to get hurt by the stampede of excited car enthusiasts rushing to buy the new revolutionary Corvette. Thank you, it's reassuring to know your order will not be ahead of mine.

The term "Forum" seems to be more obscure than I would have imagined.

We are a different car forum, and we are excited about the mid engine. Are we in love with every aspect of what we have seen? No, we are not. Folks can folks here say, “I wish the door mirrors were different; or, the rear spoiler is far from thrilling me; or, I am not in love with its rear end. For sure!

We post our feelings on every generation Corvette consistent with the explicit standards listed in this thread.

This 3D rendering, although only the body, is the first time I have actually seen a "Corvette" when looking at it. The rear haunches are very C7. Still don't like the profile.
