  • Rendering C8 in Front of C7 ZR1

Thank you fvs for this latest rendering. I really like the new grill and hood. The ME defintively looks like a member of the Corvertte family, and as you are drawing the entry 2020 version, kind of like a younger brother in junior high posing in front of his U.S. Marine bigger brother.

    Thank you very much!

. Understand. Maybe removable if you would like. And maybe since they could slant downward toward the front, they are creating front end downforce?

I'm starting to think that the rear fender intake ducts are going to look close to the rendering for the reason that they need to differentiate the car from other MEs, like the low end Fiero "no imagination" and high end McLaren "another poor man's super car". The car can't come close to resembling either of those or it will be a longer road to success. .

it kinda looks like a ZR1 with a widebody rear fender kit on the rear..almost looks like a snap-on type of body enhancement...wish it were more integrated and sculptured....

I might be wrong but it looks like our friend FVS put a drop on this car by about an 1.5" Looks great!!

When you look at the other supercars for a while, they all have their own style and peculiar styling cues. Very few are agreed by all to be "beautiful". The side scoops some use are out of place and boring to my eye but may be fantastic to others. So many different models...they can't all be or look the same... As you say, they do need to differentiate the Corvette so dramatic and attention grabbing is not a bad thing.

I still think it will be better integrated and refined than the renderings,,, Can't wait to see..

Will the side vents in front of the rear wheels be angular like in the sketch or round and curved in its opening?

i thought the angular side vent opening was just camouflage .?

                        the front looks awesome..

We don't really know 100%. Some have said it is the V shape...others say it will be rounded...or some other shape.

The Camo car has a shortened version of this shape that cuts the V off at the door line. Looks to have a piece covering the real shape.

I really can't see it being rounded since it seems the other design cues are sharp and angular so it makes sense that it may be similar to the C8R..

I could also see it working like the Aria car design.

We will all be pleasantly surprised when we see the real car for the first time. I am looking forward to it.!

I could not agree more with your thoughts about the rear of the car. I sure hope the rear third of the car looks much better when finally revealed.
